Jacquee here! I'll keep this brief. This is the first ultra sound we did at 6 weeks and 4 days. The baby was the size of a peanut but already had a heart beat! The baby flickered with each beat of its heart- it was quite awe inspiring.
Caleb joined me at this ultra sound. We had originally thought we were 8 weeks along when we got this first ultra sound- so we expected to see more of the baby. But when they measured it, we found out that it was only 6 weeks old. That meant waiting even longer to tell everyone about the baby!! And I am so terrible at keeping things like this secret!
The baby is no longer a peanut sized one but now 2" long and 11 weeks old. What a huge difference in such a short time!
